At Tree Top Garden Sheds, we hand-deliver every order ourselves — no third-party couriers, no kerbside drops. We deliver to all counties across Ireland, and delivery cost is confirmed at the time of your quote depending on your location. Once your order is placed, our team will be in touch to agree a delivery and installation date that works for you. We’ll always give you advance notice before we arrive so you can make sure the base is ready and access is clear. Because our sheds are hand-built and delivered in large flat panels, we need a clear outdoor access route to reach the installation area — this means a side entrance or garden gate wide enough to carry the panels through. Our panels cannot be brought through the inside of a house, and we do not use a crane or lift panels over walls. As a general rule of thumb, if you can comfortably carry a full-size door panel through your side entrance, our panels will fit. If you’re unsure whether your access is wide enough, send us a photo and a rough measurement before you order and we’ll confirm straight away. Getting this checked in advance avoids any issues on the day and keeps everything running smoothly.

A solid, level base must be in place before we arrive — this is the customer’s responsibility and is not included in the standard price. We recommend a concrete slab of approximately 100 mm thickness on compacted hardcore with a damp-proof membrane, though level paving slabs or concrete blocks are also acceptable depending on the structure. The base should be the same size as the shed footprint — a base that extends beyond the shed can cause rainwater to bounce back onto the timber walls over time. For wooden sheds in particular, we recommend raising the floor slightly on blocks to keep the timber off damp ground and extend its lifespan. If the base is not level or not suitable on the day of installation, we may not be able to proceed, so please have it ready and confirmed in advance.

Assembly and installation on-site are included in the price of every order — there are no hidden fitting charges. Our team will erect the panels, fit the roof, hang the doors and windows, and square everything off on your base. Most standard sheds are fully installed within a few hours; larger structures such as chalets or workshops may take longer. Please note that installation covers the structure itself and does not include electrical work, exterior painting or staining, shelving, or removal of an existing shed.
